About Me

Welcome to my blog!  My name is Curtis Bourassa.  I am an EdTech coach with South East Cornerstone Public School Division.  I like to think that my job is one of the best jobs in education as it allows me to go into other classrooms and observe what other teachers are doing in their classrooms.  This has provided me with opportunities and ideas that I am excited to use when I am back in the classroom setting. I formerly taught in a small rural school in Southern Saskatchewan teaching Grade 4/5 and Grade 6/7.  Besides educational technology, I have a passion to teach science, and I also have created a fairly large classroom library.  Social justice has also been a passion of mine.

Outside of education, I enjoy traveling on my breaks and enjoy playing and watching sports.  Feel free to give me a follow on my Twitter at @mrbourassaED.  I look forward to connecting with you.

  1. Curtis – always a thrill when I have a student who is intrigued with technology and sees the potential for PD, building a PLN and to use it in the classroom. Great to see you on twitter. It’ll be wonderful to see how you use technology in your Social Studies for this class. Have fun.
